about chloe hodson

phd candidate • curriculum consultant • humanizing educator

I’m a curriculum consultant, educator, and scholar whose work centers on helping people who share knowledge do so in ways that feel aligned, thoughtful, and human.

I’m currently completing my PhD in Curriculum & Instruction, where my research explores how love has been stripped from education through institutional systems—and how it can be meaningfully restored through humanizing, values-centered learning practices.

My path has carried me through classrooms, community spaces, and learning environments in the U.S. and internationally. Across these contexts, I’ve learned to notice how curriculum is never just content—it’s structure, relationship, power, and care. The way learning is designed shapes how people feel, engage, and understand themselves within it.

My work is rooted in seeing patterns beneath the surface: where something flows, where it feels constricted, and where small structural shifts can create deeper integrity and clarity. I’m especially drawn to the moments where a vision is strong, but the structure no longer supports it.

Through bloom.ed, I bring this lens to educators, facilitators, creatives, and organizations who want their offerings to reflect their values in practice—not just in intention. Most of my work begins with a Humanizing Curriculum Audit, a structured, reflective process designed to help you understand what’s working, what feels misaligned, and what needs care.

My approach is both analytical and relational—grounded in research, shaped by lived experience, and informed by a belief that when we honor both systems and the spirit of our work, transformation becomes possible.

If you’re holding a learning offering, course, or body of work that matters deeply to you—and you’re ready to tend to it with clarity and honesty—I’d be honored to work together.

With Love,

Chloe
